Making your own starter collections

I've decided to make for everyone a starter collection or teach you how to make one. I got this idea from American girl here's the link to the website:
http://www.americangirl.com/
Visit this site and click on Kanani (the girl of the year, the girl of the year dolls always get their own starter collections, at least I think they do). Okay, anyway so I was thinking to myself: why not make my own starter collection?
To start with you just pick out a price like a maximum amount and after you pick this amount you shouldn't go over it for example: say your maximum is about $100 that means you can not go over this price (its also okay to go beneath the price). next go wild and pick whatever you like but make sure it's not over budget. What I did next was I calculated the total and the shipping(or if your lucky the place might even have free shipping for a limited time like American girl) just so you know I have to save up $243.95
the last step is very simple : Find ways to save up!

Tomorrow maybe I'll give a how to sideshow on how to make 18'' doll shoes (mommy gave me the idea)

Jem is back on t.v!!!!!

Jem and the Holograms is on t.v again! I found out about it last Saturday morning! it's being shown on  the Hub channel and I think they are only showing it for the summer (I secretly hope not though) which is really sad because I quite enjoy dancing around the room while the theme song is on. Or maybe us Jem lovers can join together and demand that she stay on forever!!!!!

NOTE: for those who don't have the hub channel I'm really sorry. But you don't really have to worry because every Jem episode is on YouTube and while we were watching it on t.v it kinda skipped some parts on purpose. (WHICH IS SO NOT FAIR BECAUSE EVERY JEM EPISODE IS MEANT TO BE COMPLETE, FROM BEGINNING TO END!!)

What do you do on a Wednesday evening? Watch Little House on the Prairie? Eat a bowl of strawberry swirl ice cream? Bounce on your bed screaming? You may say no but that's just what I did (and no I am not insane). With the help of mommy I ordered a  bfc ink doll (best friends club). Her name is Calista and she's 18'' plus she's  prettier and CHEAPER than american dolls.A bit blurry I suppose. I am sooo excited about her arrival that I even did my dolls hair in a special way so that it would turn out curly! I might even collect large dolls like Calista becuase dolls (mostly large dolls) seem to hit me in the heart just like Little Women (the book/movie)

THANK YOU GOD THANK YOU

I didn't post this, but a while ago back in March I entered a poetry contest at my local library and the other day, (Thursday the 21) I won 1st and 2nd place! Now before you correct me, one of the rules was to write two poems per person. So we're driving there and I am praying to the Lord. Praying that I won't make a fool of myself, then we get there and enter the meeting room and we're about to take our seats when a librarian comes to us and asks me to sit in the front.  A very  nervous girl (me!) sits up front.  Now the program starts we go through the 6-8, 9 year olds and finally the 10-12. 'In first place' says the librarian (OKAY THE LIBRARIAN SAID MY NAME BUT I  CAN'T SAY MY NAME WHILE BLOGGING) 'the eleven year old!). shocked,  I get up ,shake the judge's hand receive my certificate, my $30 dollar gift card(walmart), read my poem and get a goodie bag. I sit down. Then the librarian gives the list to the judge (for second place) he looks at it and he's all like hmm uh huh and I am thinking "it must be someone with a really hard name or something" then the second place is announced....me! I am really surprised, shake the guys hand again, get my certificate and gift card ($20,walmart,total $50)read my poem  and sit down (no goodie bag :(  ) that's it. I reach mommy and get a big, big hug while she  tells me she had to wipe tears away! I am just thanking God because I really didn't want to read my poems but I did and I really didn't think they were good at all but thank you so much God, and here are my poems
The Unbearable Heat
Its very hot, too hot really
I’ve had too much lemonade
Just to cool off in the heat
But it was worth it
It was fun jumping around
Playing hide and seek
Making mud pies
And trying to keep cool
The sun has set now
And its time to go home
Time to pick up the trash
And go on home

simmer summer
Just imagine it
A perfect summer day
No flies, no bugs
And not much heat
Lemonade cups stand around
And ice pops too
How good they were!
Wish I could have more
Its dusk and we still play
Hide and seek of course
It gets late and we go inside
What a great summer
